I can’t wait to go on the next pages. I will go back a bit on the first ones in Kyoto, to ad the gray and mabe also with the black
As I mentioned before, I want to tweak my first pages (pg 1-7) too. Pg 7 still doesn’t quite work. My art feels ‘forced’ into the page…hmm….maybe I should only use textboxes for pg7? Let’s give it another shot in Kyoto.
You know, we should include our empty layouts as part of our work(maybe in the exhibition?) since they are an important part of the concept.
We do #7 in kyoto and we’ll see about the first pagese. Our last 3, work the beset. I also like 3,4,5,6, 2 is also not bad. I think you need to brig just a bit from the real(istic) elements you use now and it’s ok. But we will discuss this in Kyoto.
About new material. We are now at page 12. Let’s skip layout for page 13. it’s stupid. we go direct to 14,15, 2045
In kyoto we have to talk a bit about logistics, how we even the balace of the story and how we make a nice round finish.
You are right, I want to bring in a more realistic style to the earlier pages. But the ‘character’ is my avatar so I want to retain an abstract quality to it. Let’s see how it work out.
Haha. I actually like layout 13-it looks like a plant and a sun but let’s do it your way.
Yeah-the 2 stories haven’t quite come together yet right now. But I am sure we can do that beautifully in Kyoto.
If you like the plant, Tuan Budi, we can keep it. I just had a vision of my caracther climbing all those hill-leaves, like a Sisif twards the sun. What do you say ?
